The Pole Julia Wendell thought it was the missing Madeleine McCann, but DNA research now shows: this is extremely unlikely.
“She’s 100 percent Polish,” Fia Johansson, a private investigator who works with Wendell, told RadarOnline.com. “Her DNA is a small percentage of Lithuanian and Russian, but the test results show that she is Polish.”
Wendell tried to prove she was Madeleine on social media by pointing out physical similarities. She also laid several samples for forensic examination – in which, among other things, the lineage was established.
She recently doubled in the show “Dr. Phil» after. There, however, Wendell’s parents also had their say, claiming that the 21-year-old stole her own birth certificate and photos of children to hide her true identity. “For us as a family, it goes without saying that Julia is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, niece and step-niece. We have memories, we have pictures.” Wendell denies this allegation.
Madeleine McCann disappeared from a holiday apartment in Portugal’s Algarve in 2007 when she was three years old. Since then, the case has made headlines. Sometimes the parents were suspected, then again an alleged kidnapping was in the foreground. The police investigating Madeleine’s disappearance have spent the equivalent of about 16 million Swiss francs since 2011 trying to solve the case.
In 2020, a German was arrested who is a convicted child molester. He has been under investigation as a suspect ever since. According to the latest reports, an additional 370,000 Swiss francs in new funds are expected to be made available to clarify the fate of the girl. (Yes)
