Lucerne’s weakness away from home is slowly but surely becoming a problem. The Central Swiss team has only collected six points in ten matches on foreign soil. Only Winterthur and Lausanne-Sport are a paltry point behind in the away match – with one game less.
Due to the poor balance, Lucerne’s lead shrinks to zero. At the end of November there were still five points after the win over Winterthur. Four matches later – three of which were on home field in the Swissporarena – it is another one. The defeat in Yverdon and the one against Basel were particularly serious because they were so-called six-point games.
No goals, no victory
