Hard to believe: 4K smart TV with 50 inches and Dolby Atmos for less than 400 euros

The lower price segment of smart TVs is very competitive, but hardly any manufacturer has made such a name for itself with its price-performance ratio as Hisense. It’s really hard to believe what premium features the manufacturer packs into its budget models.

The Hisense 50E77KQ is a good example: at Alternate you can get the QLED TV for only 349 euros for an unbeatable price. He offers a good smart TV system and extensive featuresas you would otherwise only expect from much more expensive models.

The deal runs for 11 days, but availability is limited. We expect the TV to be sold out before then.

Hisense 50E77KQ: Budget TV par excellence

You obviously don’t have to expect miracles in terms of image quality; the Hisense TV cannot keep up with the OLED televisions above 1,000 euros. Yet it has solid image quality, which it achieves, among other things, with a QLED layer (Quantum Dots). This causes a expanded color volume and more details.

Home theater enthusiasts are especially happy with this Dolby Vision and HDR10+the the Hisense 50E77KQ* supports. These HDR technologies are used by many streaming providers and significantly improve the image. 4K upscaling using AI Even low-resolution source material shines in brilliant 4K.

Virtual Dolby Atmos in turn provides immersive movie sound, but the same applies here: it depends on your expectations. You can only get real surround sound or 3D sound with a suitable soundbar or sound system. Here are two current soundbar recommendations:

  • Budget tip: Bose Smart Soundbar 300 with 42 percent discount on Amazon*
  • Premium tip: Bose Smart Soundbar Ultra with 28 percent discount on Amazon*

What can’t the Hisense TV do? We would not recommend the TV for serious gaming, because it only has HDMI 2.0 with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and in any case there is a gaming mode that significantly reduces input delay. Also take into account the low peak brightness. If you are looking for a device for a bright room with lots of daylight, then you will be less happy with the Hisense 50E77KQ.
