The goal of the project is to improve quality and availability of education in El Arad using digital educational games.
This settlement is part of National strategic plan of apiariespublic policy designed to eliminate the social and economic gaps of poverty and inequality affecting thousands of Panamanian families.
It also includes training for teachers and parents in the teaching of literacy and mathematics through the Escribo Play application, they reported in a press release.
During launch, tablets to the directors of the three educational centers of the district: El Arado, Santa Cruz and El Lirio.
Furthermore, the first training workshop teachers on how to teach using technology.
The workshops will be led by v ProEd Foundation and they will cover topics to improve student management in classrooms and facilitate the use of the Escribo Play platform.
Teachers are expected to implement knowledge and skills acquired in class, and students are expected to use tablets during school holidays to reduce the educational gap that usually opens up during that period.
The “Lecto-Arado” project will culminate in the first quarter of this year school year 2024with the presentation of recognition to students who have successfully completed the program.
