Leaked! This is the new Mini Aceman

It has been known for some time that Mini is working on a new car called Aceman. However, it was still unclear what this car looked like. Thanks to China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, we already have a picture of the new model.

The leaked images of the Mini Aceman therefore come from China. It is possible that the car will come to Europe in a slightly modified form. However, it gives a very good idea of ​​what we can expect.

The new Mini Aceman

We also already know something about the specifications of the Chinese Mini Aceman. There will be a variant with a 135 kW (184 hp) electric motor and a 40 kWh battery. We know this drivetrain from the Mini Cooper E. According to the WLTP measuring method, it has a range of between 293 and 305 kilometers.

There is also a Mini Aceman S with a 160 kW (218) hp engine. This has the larger 54.2 kWh battery. You can also find this in a Cooper, the SE. According to the WLTP measurement method, this model reaches a distance of between 377 and 402 kilometers. It is very likely that these drives will also find their way into our country.

It is also noticeable that the car is slightly smaller than the previous Countryman model. This positions it between the Cooper and the new, larger Countryman. It is strange that the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology gives two lengths: 4,076 and 4,094 meters. Would the Mini Aceman S be a little longer due to other bumper work? The wheelbase of just over 2.6 meters is the same for both cars.
