Italian former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi (86) has been released from hospital after a six-week stay. He was driven in a black limousine from San Raffaele Hospital in Milan (I) on Friday morning, waving to his fans.
His partner Marta Fascina (33), member of the Chamber of Deputies, was also at Berlusconi’s side. Berlusconi is barely recognizable.
Always health problems
Officials said Berlusconi had been hospitalized with pneumonia. It was later said that Berlusconi was also being treated for leukemia.
Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni (46) “sincerely and lovingly” wished Berlusconi a “speedy recovery” on Twitter. Italy “is waiting for you”, said Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini (50), also on Twitter.
In the recent past, Berlusconi, one of the most important figures in European politics in recent decades, has repeatedly struggled with health problems. The old head of government kept coming to the hospital.
