Police officers in Baden-Württemberg arrested a drunk truck driver (26) with almost four and a half alcohol behind the wheel.

The man attracted attention because of his unsafe driving style and encountered oncoming traffic several times on the national road 294 between Walzbachtal and Bretten, the police in Karlsruhe announced on Wednesday. That is why the officials had to remove the man from the driver’s cabin during the check on Tuesday morning.

Already wanted with warrant

A breath alcohol test showed 4.4 promille. During the check, there were indications that the driver’s license and identity card of the 26-year-old could have been forged.

A check showed that the man was already wanted on the basis of an arrest warrant for an outstanding fine. He was arrested and taken to prison. He is now being investigated for endangering road traffic, driving without a license and forgery, among other things. (AFP)
