Actor Kevin Costner and designer Christine Baumgartner have split. The 49-year-old has filed for divorce from the 68-year-old, as reported by the US celebrity site “TMZ”. “Irreconcilable differences” are the reason for the couple’s marriage.
A Costner spokesperson confirmed to the portal: “It is very unfortunate that events beyond his control have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in divorce proceedings.” It also read: “We ask that you respect the privacy of him, Christine and their children as they get through this difficult time.”
The now ex-couple has three children together aged 12, 14 and 15: Grace, Hayes and Cayden. According to the report, the two want to share authority and agree on that. There is no marriage contract between Baumgartner and Costner.
