On Monday, the private aerospace company SpaceX is said to have tested the most powerful rocket yet built for SpaceX’s Starbase in Texas. But the rocket will not be launched today, SpaceX reported seconds before the scheduled launch.
A problem was discovered with the pressure equalization in the rocket’s first stage. That is not unusual, because filling a rocket with fuel is a tricky business. Now it is time to solve the printing problem and find out what exactly went wrong. It will take at least 48 hours for the rocket to be ready for launch again, the company said.
Elon Musk expects a 1:2 risk of falling for this. The SpaceX founder writes in advance on Twitter that excitement is guaranteed.
Success perhaps, anticipation assured! https://t.co/LoDrBmHkQa
