Several representatives of the Government and the Ukrainian army announced that Ukraine is preparing a new counter-offensive to regain the territories conquered by Russia
Ukrainian Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk called on the citizens of Ukraine in the areas of the country controlled by Russia so they try to get out as soon as possible through “third countries”.
“I advise Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territories to go to third countries or to prepare: you know what to do,” Vereshchuk said on his Telegram channel. “The main thing is to protect yourself and the children”added the minister. Vereshchuk also said that some of the leaders appointed by Russia in the occupied territories of eastern and southern Ukraine have begun preparing their departure from those territories.
“It would be good if they brought their associates with them”said the Ukrainian politician. Several representatives of the Government and the Ukrainian army have announced in recent weeks that Ukraine is preparing a new counter-offensive to regain the territories conquered by Russia.
According to Ukrainian media, Vereshchuk’s appeal asks that Ukrainian citizens living in these areas be protected from the foreseeable intensification of fighting when this counter-offensive begins.
