It bubbles between Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozchin (61) and Russian President Vladimir Putin (70). And not just since yesterday. Prigozhin has been raging against the Kremlin and its military leadership for weeks.
Once again he insisted on publicly defaming the Kremlin. His crazy performance in the midst of the highly competitive Bachmut is now causing a stir. This is reported by the “image”.
Wagner’s boss allowed himself to be photographed in front of the monument commemorating the “Great Patriotic War” and spoke a few words to the Ukrainian head of state Volodymyr Zelensky (45). Bizarre: In the video, Prigozhin even praised Selensky for deciding not to give up on Bakhmut. The Kremlin probably won’t be happy about this. At the same time, however, Prigozhin accused the Ukrainian president of sending “children and old people” to the front.
The Ukraine gets nothing from the visit of the Wagner boss
The recordings caused ridicule on Telegram: the Wagner group used their boss’s appearance to fool the Ukrainian army.
“All this time Prigozhin was literally 150-250 meters from the enemy in liberated Bakhmut,” reads the Telegram channel. As research by “Bild” shows, this information is not entirely correct. The newspaper located the place where the murderous Wagner boss gave his speech and found it to be about 600 meters from the nearest Ukrainian position.
In order not to be recognized by the enemy, the Wagner boss worked really hard. Disguised as an ordinary Wagner fighter, he reached the center of the heavily contested city of Bakhmut shortly before dawn.
It is shameful that the visit of her nemesis escaped the Ukrainian intelligence services, the newspaper continues.
Prigozhin shoots at Russian minister Shoigu
In the video, Wagner’s boss fired one more shot at the Kremlin. Prigozhin used a communication from the Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu (67) for this. He previously claimed that Russian forces would launch “an offensive deep into the defenses of Ukraine” once Bakhmut was captured.
“I cannot comment in any way on Schoigu’s words. I did not meet him in Bachmut,” the Wagner boss scoffed in his video.
The Kremlin was correspondingly dissatisfied with Prigozhin’s appearance. As the “Bild” writes, the video was shot in Moscow as an insult to the military leadership and even to the Kremlin dictator himself. (dzc)
