Climate activists miss a rain of paint in the Berlin Ministry of Transport The monster strike in France begins – 5 questions and answers

The climate group “Last Generation” is back on track. Videos on Twitter show environmentalists spraying orange paint and water at the Federal Ministry of Transport in Berlin on Tuesday morning. The activists used a fire engine for the action.

The group announced on Twitter that the action was aimed at Transport Minister Volker Wissing. They wanted to give the FDP minister “a cold shower”. With his traffic policy he blocks “climate protection for the whole of Europe”, another tweet said.

As reported by the Berlin police, three people from the “last generation” were prosecuted and sent away.

On Twitter, users are now complaining about the Ministry of Transport’s lack of security measures:

It is not the first action with which the group ‘Last Generation’ has caused a stir in recent months. Most recently, the constitutional artwork in Berlin’s government district was targeted by the activists. They smeared the glass walls of Israeli artist Dani Karavan’s “Basic Law 49” art installation with black liquid. (lst)
