Giant wave on the beach in South Africa – 3 dead, 17 injured Donald Trump: was that it?

A giant wave swept over a beach in Durban, South Africa, killing three people, including a teenager. The unusually large wave pulled dozens of people out to sea, authorities said Saturday. According to the information, 17 people with injuries have been treated in the hospital.

A spokeswoman for the South African government said 35 lifeguards and a medical team were involved in the rescue operation. More than 100 people were affected by the sudden surge. Further details were not initially available.

Durban had to close its beaches this year for safety reasons due to high levels of “E. coli” bacteria had spilled into the sea from the city’s sewage system. The cause was devastating flooding in April, which killed more than 400 people.
