How these two Albanians became successful founders of the company

The Albanian entertainment program “Fol Shqip Show” visited the Swiss insurance company Neo, which was founded and managed by two Albanians. The company has 360 employees and has been operating in the insurance market for 20 years, according to the Albanian diaspora portal “Albora”.

Company founder Arif Sulejmani and CEO Bekim Mustafi came to Switzerland as young men. They say that in the beginning it took a lot of time and patience to get used to the country, learn the language and settle. But now both are successful businessmen.

Your company offers various insurance services. «It is a wide range that Neo offers. We sell various insurance products, starting with health insurance. But we also offer life insurance, car insurance, home insurance, legal expenses insurance and much more,” says Mustafi.

“Don’t pay more than you need to”

The two came up with the idea of establishing an insurance company because health insurance is compulsory in Switzerland. “But most people are underinsured or overinsured and that is very worrying. Our idea is that every advisor goes to the client, makes a thorough analysis and helps people not to pay more than they need to, but to take out appropriate insurance,” says Mustafi.

The core of the company is Albanian, but they have employees from different countries such as Switzerland, Italy, Portugal, Iran or Spain. “The idea here is to serve as many customers from different backgrounds as possible and offer services in their language.”
