A motorist hit wedding guests in Spain, killing four. The incident early Sunday morning in Torrejón de Ardoz, about 20 kilometers east of Madrid, left many people injured, some seriously, state television channel RTVE and other media outlets reported, citing Spanish police.
According to the initial findings, the guests were deliberately run over after a dispute. South of Madrid, three occupants of a car with bumps on the road have now been arrested as suspects. A fourth suspect is on the run.

The incident reportedly happened after the wedding party in front of a restaurant just before 3 a.m. The fatalities are a 70-year-old woman and three men, aged 17, 40 and 60. Four people, two men and two women, were seriously injured and taken to hospitals. A man and his two minor sons have been arrested as suspects. What the dispute was about, which would have led to the fatal attack with the car, was initially unknown. (saw/sda/dpa)
