Euroairport Basel-Mulhouse reopens after evacuation At least eight dead after refugee boat sinks in Turkey

The Euroairport Basel-M

The terminal of Euroairport Basel-Mulhouse was evacuated on Friday for safety reasons after a bomb threat and is now open again.

A spokeswoman for the airport confirmed this at the request of the Keystone-SDA news agency. The terminal was temporarily closed and several flights were diverted.

The airport, which is located on French territory, had to be evacuated several times in recent months. In October 2023, there were four false bomb threats at Euroairport within seven days, and another in January this year. Numerous bomb threats also led to evacuations at other airports in France last year. (sda)
