Dog owners found a severed body part in the Volkspark Prenzlauer Berg in Berlin, which turned out to be a piece of a human leg.
The animals had struck, police said on Tuesday. Her owners then discovered the body part in a light bush on the grass and alerted the police.
A forensic doctor identified the piece as part of a leg. A hit squad took over the investigation. The park was completely cordoned off to search for and secure evidence. (AFP)
