First he won three Grammys, after which, according to a report, rapper Killer Mike was arrested. A video published by a reporter from The Hollywood Reporter showed the musician, whose real name is Michael Render, being taken in handcuffs to a secret location in the arena hosting the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
According to the trade publication, a security official said the rapper was arrested for a reason unrelated to the gala. The Los Angeles police initially did not respond to a request from the AFP news agency.
Apparently, while being restrained, Killer Mike shared a series of emojis meant to represent his three awards and success. “Thank God,” he wrote.
At the Grammy Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles, Killer Mike won “Michael” for best rap album, as well as “Scientists & Engineers” for best rap song and best rap performance. (AFP)
