The two women met by chance in a hamburger joint in the Neunkirchen district (D). One of the women wants to help her new friend with her alleged paranormal gifts: she explains to the 41-year-old from Saarland that her savings, all her money, jewelry and other possessions are “unclean”. But the woman goes one step further: “The perpetrator claimed that the victim and her mother had been threatened with serious illness and even death,” the investigating detective told “Bild”.
The fraudster appears convincing: the 41-year-old is completely scared. So it is no wonder that she accepts the next offer of the alleged sorceress: she can cleanse her valuables from the spell of black magic. To do this, the woman simply had to entrust her with all her possessions – then through magical rituals she could free money and gold from all evil.
Police are looking for fraudster with ghost image
Within two months the two women met in Neunkirchen, Saarbrücken, Kaiserslautern and Mannheim. The woman from Saarland takes some of her belongings with her to every appointment: money, jewelry, gold bars, shopping vouchers – and even her new mobile phone, as the Neunkirchen police wrote in a statement.
“The perpetrator assured the victim that she would clean up the money, jewelry, etc. and free them from the magic,” the researcher reports to “Bild”. In her fear, the 41-year-old blindly trusts her new knowledge – with dire consequences: “As a result, the injured party did not receive any cash or valuables back,” says the police officer. Within no time the victim was 150,000 euros poorer.
The Saarland resident only takes off her rose-colored glasses when she can no longer reach the fraudster. She immediately reports the incident and provides a description of the perpetrator. “The woman is devastated and fears for her survival,” police said. “By publishing the phantom photo, the Neunkirchen police hope to obtain information that will lead to the identification of the perpetrator.” (gs)
