Siren alarm at the US Consulate in Erbil, Iraq. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards apparently attempted to attack several facilities in the Iraqi city on Monday.
This is evident from various media reports. According to Tasnim News, the Revolutionary Guards have aimed to attack intelligence services and “anti-Iranian terrorist groups” in the region. Six Fateh-110 short-range tactical ballistic missiles were fired by the Revolutionary Guards.
The US says there were no casualties in the attempted attack on the US consulate. Previously, images on social media had already shown several explosions. (An)
