Three young men protected a homeless man in Bielefeld (D) from an attack by another group of men. The three 23-year-olds saw on Tuesday evening how four people first asked the homeless man if he had coins for them, police said on Wednesday. Then they attacked him.
The four beat him until he fell to the ground and then kicked him. The three 23-year-olds intervened and detained one of the thugs, police said. The suspect is also a 23-year-old. The remaining criminals ran away.
The alerted police later found three other suspects, a 17-year-old and two 20-year-olds. You now have to answer for serious bodily harm. The homeless man was taken to hospital. (AFP)
