Fraudsters send fraudulent emails in the name of the Liechtenstein State Police.

The state police of the Principality of Liechtenstein warns against fraudulent emails in the name of the police. Once again, supposedly official letters from the police would be sent suspecting recipients of pornography. The recipients are accused of consuming illegal content and committing a criminal offense. It is a scam run by nasty scammers.

You should contact the email address provided so that the allegations can be verified. If you do not do this within 48 hours, an arrest warrant will be issued, the email says. The State Police warns you not to respond under any circumstances and advises you to simply ignore the message. (jwg)
