Because an ingredient was missing from the pizza she ordered, Sirin F. (35) drove a Domino’s saleswoman to the hospital. What sounds like a bad joke actually happened. It happened in July last year at a Domino’s pizzeria in Hanover.
As ‘Bild’ reports, the abuse victim (33) described in court what had happened to him. The saleswoman’s trembling voice betrayed how deep the trauma must be.
“I’m going to come over and hit you in the face with the pizza.”
That day she received a complaint call from a customer who had ordered a Dutch pizza. “She immediately started complaining because the hollandaise sauce was missing,” the saleswoman said in court.
She then offered her a new delivery plus a free drink. But the angry customer wouldn’t listen and instead threatened her en masse: “I’m going to come over and hit you in the face with the pizza,” was said on the other end of the phone.
Although the customer’s behavior stunned her, she did not take the threat seriously. “After all, it was about some hollandaise sauce.”
10 to 15 kicks to the legs, upper body and head
But F. certainly didn’t seem as relaxed as the saleswoman. A little later she showed up at the pizzeria with her friend Justine W. (25) in tow and the defective delivery.
The witness remembers it well: “They asked if I was the whore on the phone.” Then they would have struck. “I remember falling to the ground.”
But that didn’t deter the attackers. They kicked her again and again. In her legs and her upper body they didn’t even stop at her head.
“At least 10 to 15 flights of stairs before my colleagues intervened,” said the 33-year-old, who was seriously injured in the attack, including a concussion, bruises, shortness of breath and panic attacks.
Now the attackers have to pay 2,500 euros
Unbelievable: even after the assault, the attackers continued to threaten the saleswoman. It all went so far that she was declared unfit for work and had to move.
Because the process burdened the seller so heavily, an agreement was reached with the other party on compensation of 2,500 euros (the equivalent of 2,410 francs), according to the victim’s lawyer. The Dutchman Classic cost the attackers dearly. Sirin F. and Justine W. have rarely paid so much for a pizza. (dzc)
