Cox, who befriended Perry’s character Chandler Bing in her role as Monica Geller on the hit sitcom “Friends” and later married him, posted a “Friends” clip from a bed scene together. Before filming this scene, Cox said, he whispered a funny line for her to say. “He did things like that a lot. He was funny and kind.”

‘Friends’ star Matt LeBlanc (56) also publicly said goodbye to his colleague on Tuesday, more than two weeks after Perry’s death. He did this ‘with pain in the heart’, the actor wrote on Instagram on Tuesday. “The times we had together are truly some of the favorite times of my life. It was an honor to share the stage with you and call you a friend. I will always smile when I think of you and I will never forget you.”

In the series, LeBlanc and Perry had shared an apartment as friends for a while and were constantly joking with and about each other – and so LeBlanc also joked via Instagram when parting: “I think you need the 20 dollars you gave me have given, must still keep.” .”

Perry was found dead in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home in late October. No details were initially known about the cause of death. The Canadian-American actor became famous with the series ‘Friends’, in which he, LeBlanc, as well as Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer played six young friends in New York. The TV series was produced in the US from 1994 to 2004 and became a television cult in numerous countries. Perry’s colleagues released a joint statement just a few days after his death, calling it an “incredible loss.” (sda/dpa)
