Pizza Hut launches snake meat offering in China

American restaurant chain, Pizza Hut, reported this week that it has partnered with a restaurant in Hong Kong, China, to produce snake meat pizza.

The new recipe combines grated snake meat, Chinese dried ham and black mushrooms, ingredients used in classic stews in that country.

Pizza Hut Hong Kong assured through a press release that the snake meat is “nutritious” and “can stimulate blood circulation”.

He adds that in combination with cheese and chicken, snake meat takes on a more intense flavor.

In combination with pizza, it represents progress in the conventional concept of preserving good health, and at the same time a challenge for the taste buds, says the press release.

According to CNN, Pizza Hut has partnered with Ser Wong Fun, a restaurant in snakes from central Hong Kong, whose creation dates back to 1895.

The pizza It measures 22 centimeters and has abalone sauce. It will be on sale until November 22.

CNN reports that the texture of snake meat is very similar to chicken, after testing the recipe.

Karen Chan, Executive Director Pizza Hut in Macau, said these pizzas offer the perfect balance between different flavors.
