On Wednesday there was a health incident involving AfD leader Tino Chrupalla (48) during an election campaign event in Ingolstadt (D). As the “Passauer Neue Presse” reports, he had to be “supported” from the start of the event. The politician is said to have taken selfies and then collapsed. He then had to be taken to a hospital by ambulance. It is unclear exactly what happened. The AfD speaks of a “sexual assault incident”.
As the newspaper further reports, German police have confirmed an operation that is still ongoing. No physical incident was confirmed. In addition, the responsible police station in Upper Bavaria North plans to inform about the incident in a “timely” press release.
