Donald Trump Jr. always attracts attention with strange statements on social media. The eponymous son of former President Donald Trump once claimed that social media mainly promotes “crazy people” from the Republican ranks.

Now he has apparently gone mad himself. At least that’s what you would think if you followed his activities on his X account (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday afternoon. There he posted messages that were more than questionable.

Donald Trump Jr. announces the death of his father

On Wednesday afternoon, Donald Trump Jr. published several messages on X that seemed unusual even to him. For example, he insulted President Joe Biden in a tweet with the words: “Stupid Ass N*gga”. One tweet especially alarmed the X-Users at first. The 45-year-old wrote on his account: “I am sad to announce that my father Donald Trump has passed away.”

Strange messages were discovered on Trump's X account.

For anyone concerned, Donald Trump Jr. added: “I will run for president in 2024.”

Some people may be surprised by these reports. Why are you announcing your own father’s death as a joke? And also publicly?

Donald Trump Jr. surprised with strange messages on his X account

Anyone keeping an eye on the 46-year-old’s account may have noticed something was wrong with the X account. Because the son of the former US president posted several messages that were atypical for him. So he announced in cryptic words: “This just came in: North Korea is about to be fried.”

He wrote in another post: “Interesting news with Jeffrey Epstein!”

Are there actually any interesting posts involving Jeffrey Epstein on Trump's profile?

Numerous users quickly noticed that Trump’s account had likely fallen victim to one or more hackers. The comments contain contributions from people who are amused by the strange tweets.

A parody account of former US President Trump responded to the death announcement message with the words: “I’m still alive, sorry.” And under another tweet, the account read: “Give my son his account back.”

Apparently X noticed this too. Just half an hour after the first tweets were sent, the specter was over. The messages have been deleted. It remains to be seen whether his account was actually hacked. And perhaps also whether there is actually any interesting news with Jeffrey Epstein…
