Your son should die. So Jazmin P.*, 18, from Miami, USA, went online to look for a hit man – and ended up on the website rentahitman.com (in English: “Hire a hit man”).
No real address to find a killer. The website was originally created by web designer Robert Innis for his cybersecurity company. Until he realized that most thought it was a real assassin website. That is why he set up an area for those interested. Information about the target person to be killed can be entered there.
Since then he has worked for the police and the FBI. “I get hundreds of questions every day. However, if they are very specific and I can verify the victim’s or perpetrator’s address, I will immediately forward it to the appropriate authorities,” he told NBC Miami.
She wanted to pay $3000 for the death
And so it was when P. was looking for a murderer. She made an offer on the site, wanting to pay $3,000, just under 2,600 francs, for the murder of her own son. Innis called the police, who then contacted P. She thought she was texting a killer.
An undercover officer eventually arrested the 18-year-old when the money was handed over. P. is in custody and must answer to the court for attempted murder. According to police, her son is “in the safe care of his family”. Why the three-year-old should die is unclear. (jmh)
