When she returned, she immediately noticed that something was wrong in her apartment in the Paris area. It smelled like bleach and there were flies everywhere. And that despite the fact that the apartment was not empty, but was inhabited and renovated by a married couple.
When the officers arrived, they saw a suspicious spot in the wall: 1.50 meters long, one meter high and 40 centimeters wide. This feature was new. Investigators broke open the wall – and made a shocking discovery: a corpse covered in maggots was trapped in the wall. According to the police, it would have been a man crouching in an embryonic position.

During the investigation, the resident was only able to tell the police the first name of the craftsman who had been commissioned. The neighbors also had no useful information for the detectives.
So far, not only have there been difficulties in the search for the alleged perpetrator: in fact, the decomposition of the body has progressed so far that it is almost impossible to identify the corpse.
