Rudy F.* (25) went for a walk with his dogs on the evening of March 6, 2015 and never came back. The family in Houston (Texas) turned against the police, TV channels published the photo of the then 17-year-old teenager – in vain.
Now, eight years later, the surprise: a pedestrian found an unconscious young man in front of a church, covered in cuts and burns. He was taken to a hospital. He could barely speak.
He was still wearing the same necklace
However, he still wore the same necklace around his neck as when he disappeared, which he had worn since his brother’s death in 2011. And so officers Janie Santana, the mother, was able to bring the good news: her son Rudy is alive.
It is still unclear where Rudy has been in recent years. The mother believes her son has been abused. He only speaks a few words. She posted a photo of him lying in bed, sharing, “Rudy can’t communicate with us and can’t talk. He’s now getting the care he needs to work through his trauma.” (new)
