A roller coaster full of people derailed at an amusement park in Sweden. Several people were injured, police said Sunday. The severity of the injuries is not yet known. A spokeswoman for “Gröna Lund” in the capital Stockholm told broadcaster SVT that at least two people were injured.

The park was evacuated to facilitate rescue efforts. There was even a helicopter present. An SVT reporter who happened to be in the park at the time of the accident reported that a car had fallen from a great height.
According to the park, the roller coaster “Jetline” hurtles at speeds of up to 90 kilometers per hour on a track that is 800 meters long and up to 30 meters high. (sda/dpa)
