Georgia B. is being tried in the UK. She allegedly fooled a short-sighted woman into thinking she was a man.

She hid her long blonde hair in a hood and pretended to be a man. All to trick a young woman (19) and have sex with her. Georgia B.* (21) must answer for this before a court in Great Britain, reports the British newspaper “Daily Mail”. The bizarre story would only have been possible because the victim is extremely short-sighted. Anything more than 14 centimeters away from the 19-year-old is only blurry.

It all started with a fake Snapchat profile that B. created. She said she was male and her name was George Perry. According to the court, after writing a letter to the 19-year-old, she made an appointment with her in her car. Sexual acts would have taken place there.

Persecution by Albanian criminal gangs as an excuse

The public prosecutor assumes that B. knew that the girl could see extremely poorly without glasses – and responded mercilessly to this. B. tried several times to take off her glasses to take advantage of the 19-year-old’s nearsightedness.

At the same time, B. naturally did not want to undress during sex, which would have exposed the fraud. According to the public prosecutor’s office, when plaintiff tried to take off “George’s” boxer shorts, B. deliberately started to shake. “George” told the plaintiff of a knife attack scar. “George” didn’t want to get off the top either – he was followed by an Albanian gang and was too scared.

To hide her feminine body, B. always wore wide, long clothes – even when it was hot. Her victim noticed that too. “You’re literally sweating,” said the 19-year-old.

During a police check, the victim first heard the name Georgia and not “George”. She became increasingly suspicious. Finally, the 19-year-old’s mother found out the wrong “George”. In the suspect’s car, she found an identity card with the 21-year-old’s real name.

Nine cases of sexual assault

The victim confronted Georgia B., who then confessed everything. She subsequently deleted her Snapchat profile. When asked by detectives if she would have allowed herself to be touched had she known George was actually a woman, the 19-year-old flatly denied.

B. is accused of sexual assault and eight of penetration in nine cases. She denies the allegations. When questioned by detectives, she simply replied, “No comment.” The judge must now decide to what extent the victim could have known that B. was a man. It is not yet known when a verdict can be expected(e)
