The Hollywood event of the year is this weekend: Gwyneth Paltrow presents her new candle collection. Just kidding, this weekend is of course the annual collection at Humphrey Bogart’s grave to help the film industry flourish. No, seriously: it’s the Oscars.
Like every year, the little metal man is awarded to so-called stars who excelled in their respective categories. Sometimes deserved, sometimes less. One of these categories, the king category so to speak, is ‘Best Picture’. The Oscar goes to the producers, who really have nothing to do with the artwork except financially, but the film must have been pretty good.
The movies we’re looking for here all won “best movie”. Sometimes deserved, sometimes not. But what do we care, in the end we just want to know: do you recognize these 18 Oscar films by the (crappy) description?
