WhatsApp now lets you edit messages

Instant messaging application What’s up announced on Monday that it will finally let you edit messages.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of the technology company Meta, confirmed the arrival of a new feature on WhatsApp.

Users will have up to 15 minutes after sendingl message to make the changes you need.

Customization is due to the need for error correction and the ability to change your mind, as well as greater control over what is sent through this platform.

“You can now edit your WhatsApp messages after they’ve been sent,” Zuckerberg emphasized via his official Facebook profile.

For its part, WhatsApp is happy to offer more control over chats.

“You’ll be able to correct anything from simple spelling mistakes to adding additional context to a message,” the platform reported.

How to edit your WhatsApp messages?

The process of editing WhatsApp messages is very simple. You just need to press and hold the sent message you want to change.

Then a menu will appear, select an option “Edit”continue with the changes and resend the message.

Remember that if more than 15 minutes have passed, you will not be able to make the change. Also, when you make changes, a message will notify the recipient that a change has been made.
