Proof of this is that both children and adults were looking forward to this great technological gift this Christmas.

Thousands of parents, in various parts of the world, have had to learn to operate these devices, since dolls and remote-controlled cars ceased to be popular.

But what can be done to avoid shortening its life? It is best to maintain it occasionally. However, we can apply certain instructions in practice.

The first thing we need to know is that the Nintendo Switch is a hybrid console that allows you to play on a laptop and on a television. A video game console, or simply a console, is an electronic entertainment system that plays video games stored on cassettes, optical discs, magnetic discs, memory cards, or any storage device.

In the case of the Switch, which allows for portable gaming, this makes it a highly used console, always exposed to dirt or sweat from the hands. Therefore, it is important to care for and clean it properly.

First, mix about 70% isopropyl alcohol with water and use a lint-free microfiber cloth. You can also keep cotton buds or an interdental brush handy for those hard-to-reach areas and follow these steps:

1. Make sure the console is turned off.

2. Moisten the cloth in a mixture of water and alcohol.

3. Remove the controls and clean each one individually.

4. Clean the back of the console with the same cloth.

5. The screen can be rubbed with a microfiber cloth or an eyeglass cleaning cloth.

6. Finally, use a small brush for the speakers and other corners of the console (ports and connectors).

How to clean Nintendo Switch screen? In this case, it is extremely important to use a microfiber cloth to clean the screen. Wet the cloth lightly with water or remove excess moisture, and rub the surface of the screen that can be disinfected with alcohol.

It is important to perform this last step very carefully and not to use force. The Nintendo Switch has more sensitive materials that can be scratched. For this reason, they do not recommend disassembling the console, much less applying cleaning agents directly to the machine. Use only isopropyl alcohol to disinfect the set. You can also use compressed air in tighter places, where dust easily enters.

After cleaning the Nintendo Switch, don’t forget to do the same with the console support (Dock). At the end of the whole process, it is advisable to dry both things with a clean cloth before playing again. Of course, you must know that this cleaning is not a solution to possible errors. 7. Be careful with “tired” games. Every time you play, something inexorable happens, the controls begin to wear out, that is, reduce their lifespan. This is something that will be highly variable depending on preferred games or genres and/or our particular way of using it.
