Alzira stings O Parrul, who loses 5-8 at the beginning of the “playoff”

The people of Ferol must win in Valencia next Saturday if they want to stay alive in the fight for placement

In a three-game tie, a win in the first was an invaluable morale booster. A task that O Parrulo could not accomplish in his first meeting playoffs promotion to the national futsal elite. Alzira, with Peiró heavily involved, were a beast for Juanma Marrube’s men who, although they came out with guns raised, fell to a commendable Valencia defence.

O Parrulo jumped to the floor with everything. From the first minute, he showed dizzying verticality. And Adri as a beacon warns in the 3rd minute with a free kick against the crossbar. The start of the match was in the best home rhythms, with O Parrula with clear ideas and the squeeze of Alzira, who was trying to free herself from the pressure of the bullpen Juanmo Marrube and the crowd in the pavilion. With everything on his face, Hélder opened the scoring. Assisted by Adrija, he went through Porky’s goal with his left foot.

Alzira tried to recover from the Ferrol storm with a surprising strategy. After an uneventful start, good defense from Coro stopped a powerful shot from Carlitos. And it was the expert of the Valencia team who put the tables back on the scoreboard in the 11th minute with an authentic goal from a free kick into the team.

After the tables were relit, several controversial actions clouded the meeting. Alzira looked for a goal in the action of Joan who hits the wood. O Parrulo had difficult minutes, and Peiró put the guests in the lead. Tension broke the game before the break. Peiró’s kick on Adri’s supporting leg became the sixth foul, a double penalty that the captain scored just before half-time.

A new 20-minute match follows, which turned into hell. Alzira sealed its victory with solvency. The ball, controlled by Peiró, slips between Cor’s legs. The Valencian was a dagger and broke the afternoon with the fourth. O Parrulo didn’t collapse, which created a series of chances with more heart than head. An own goal by Alzira and another by Wilson made us believe in magic. But it remains to be seen how the Valencians sealed the victory (5-8).

It’s time to react. Next Saturday, O Parrulo visits the Alzira fiefdom and a must win to survive.
