Former NFL and MLB star Bo Jackson suffers from a curious illness.

Everyone knows it: the Hitzgi can drive you crazy. Now imagine you’ve had it for a year and you can’t put it down. Welcome to the world of Bo Jackson (60).

The former football and baseball professional revealed on British radio station “WJOX-FM” that he had tried everything to get rid of his Hitzgi, which had been going on for about a year – without success. “I got scared, hung upside down, drank water and smelled a porcupine’s butt,” says Jackson.

The former NFL running back is now explaining the tricks and seeking medical attention. Because Hitzgi prevented Jackson from attending his 2022 Hall of Fame induction ceremony, “I’m busy sitting in the hospital with doctors, shining lights down my throat and figuring out why I have these hiccups.”

NFL and MLB All-Star

Jackson, whose first name is actually Vincent Edward, got his name Bo because he was called “Boarhog” (Eng.: wild boar) because of his wild playing style. In 1986, he was drafted first overall by the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His condition for signing the contract: he also wants to play baseball at the same time. The Florida franchise declined to respond to the request and released Jackson into the so-called draft pool.

A year later, he was ranked 183rd by the Los Angeles Raiders, and they didn’t mind him playing on the side of the Kansas City Royals baseball team. He rose to prominence in the NFL and MLB, becoming the only American athlete to be named an All-Star in two of the four major American sports. (che)
