Bern Derby in the men’s superfinal: Floorball Köniz (Luca Graf/left) and SV Wiler-Ersigen (Gian Mühlemann) in a duel for the floorball crown in Switzerland.

Wiler-Ersigen is now the sole record champion in Swiss floorball. The team of interim coach Radek Sikora defeated Köniz in the penalty shoot-out in the Bern Superfinal in Kloten 3:1 and won the 13th league title. After regular time, the score was 2-2.

Wiler-Ersigen goalkeeper Yanick Flury reached the game winner in the penalty shoot-out with two saved tries. Earlier Wiler had made up for a deficit twice, the second time eight minutes before the end. In the expected low-scoring duel between the two defensively strongest teams, it took until halfway through the game before the first goal was scored.

After losing two Superfinals, Wiler-Ersigen was back at the top of Swiss floorball. (SDA)
