1/5
Full focus on Yannick Schwaller (M.).

In their second competition at the World Championships in Schaffhausen, the Swiss curlers led by Skip Yannick Schwaller achieved their first victory. They defeated Norway 10:5.

CC Genève’s Pablo Lachat, Sven Michel, Yannick Schwaller and Benoît Schwarz-van Berkel show a clear improvement compared to the defeat against the US. Schwarz-van Berkel in fourth place alone improved from 71 to 93 percent of the successful stones – to a value that means world class. The Norwegian skip and number 4 Magnus Ramsfjell is at 75 percent.

In the match on Easter Sunday afternoon, the Swiss will face the Swedes, led by six-time world champion Niklas Edin. (SDA)
