Kick-Sauber will still miss the kick in 2024. The people of Hinwil do not come from the depths. Just like a week ago in Bahrain, Bottas (16th) and Zhou (20th) limped out of qualifying after just 18 minutes.

The Chinese caused the first Formula 1 wreck of the season in the third training session when he lost control of the C44. “Sorry guys,” came the radio over the speakers. There an attempt was made to repair the car before the stick hunt. Zhou was only able to take to the track two minutes before the first part of qualifying.

But the Asian crossed the GP finish line two seconds too late to complete a timed lap! And Bottas missed 15th place to Albon (Williams) by 0.072 seconds. The dreams of a sixth place at the World Cup are starting to look ridiculous.

Audi has now officially confirmed the 100 percent takeover of the Sauber company. So a clear signal must come from Germany. Andreas Seidl (48) is the new CEO at Audi. He now has to lead the team from the front – and not push other people forward!
