After failing to win medals in the two-man bobsleigh last weekend, the men are also strapped back into the four-man bobsleigh. After two runs, the Swiss sleds are in 9th, 11th and 15th place.
German dual leadership
Simon Friedli’s team lost 1.51 seconds to the leading German Francesco Friedrich, who is aiming for his sixth world title in a row. In the second lap, the 32-year-old and his supporters lost two places and missed out on a better starting position.
Cédric Follador’s sled was six hundredths behind, while Timo Rohner’s sled followed at 1.82 seconds. Meanwhile, leader Friedrich has 27 hundredths spare on his teammate Johannes Lochner.
Races 3 and 4 are scheduled for Sunday. (SDA)
