While the F1 circus in faraway Bahrain is currently preparing for the start of the season, Formula 1 legend Roger Benoit (75) takes some time on site and types out the rest of qualifying with the Blick table calculator.

The NL table after Benoit’s look into the crystal ball.

What the crystal ball says: The SCB are slowing down and sliding into the play-ins, but as 7th in the table they at least get a second chance – should they lose the game against champions Servette (from March 7).

According to Benoit Ambri, the second play-in duel will be contested by the SCL Tigers, who also convince in reality and remain in 10th place at the expense of EHC Biel. According to Benoit’s prediction, the coaching change will not yield anything for the Zeelanders.

What Benoit’s crystal ball also says: The first fixed playoff matches (from March 16) are Lausanne (3rd) against Davos (6th) and Zug (4th) against Lugano (5th).

Roger Benoit reports on a Grand Prix for Blick in Bahrain for the 799th time. At the end of March he will celebrate the anniversary of 800 races in Australia. His first GP for Blick: 1970 in Brands Hatch.
