Deschwanden achieved the second best distance of 152 meters in the second round, moving up two places in the rankings. He trails fourth-placed Daniel Tschofenig of Austria by 1.9 points.

Second best result of his career

For Deschwanden it is the second best career result after his second place, which he achieved in Klingenthal in December. The day before in the same place it was only enough for 24th place.

Winner Wellinger even moved up six places with his second jump. He switches places with the Pole Aleksander Zniszczol, who surprisingly took the lead in the first round, but ultimately had to settle for 7th place. (SDA/sbe)
