Union Berlin must pay a fine of 101,000 euros because its fans let off a large number of prohibited fireworks at two away matches.
The incidents took place during the Bundesliga match in Heidenheim on September 30 and during the cup match on October 31 at VfB Stuttgart. In the first case, Berlin supporters lit 60 Bengali fires and four smoke pots, and in the second case 37 pyrotechnic objects, according to the German Football Association.
The Union can use up to EUR 33,600 of the fine for security or violence prevention measures. (SDA)
