Alexis Pinturault (32) has had a lot to be happy about in recent days. Last Saturday he became a dad for the first time and on Thursday he achieved his best result in the downhill. Only this winter did he decide to turn his back on slalom and concentrate on the speed disciplines. On the Lauberhorn he was rewarded with a 9th place.
