FC Bayern must look for a new board member. Marketing director Andreas Jung (61) announced on Monday during the Munich council meeting that he does not want to renew his contract, which expires next summer, after 27 years.
Jung increased sales for the sponsors of the German record champions from approximately 13 million in 1996 to 246 million in the 2022/2023 season. “Without this income we would not have been able to establish ourselves at the top of European football,” said chairman and chairman of the supervisory board Herbert Hainer.
