Edmonton’s star forward Leon Draisaitl plays big against the New York Islanders.

The Edmonton Oilers win their first game in the NHL under coach Kris Knoblauch (45), who has been in office since Sunday.

They celebrated their first home win of the season with a 4-1 victory against the New York Islanders, which is only their fourth complete win of the current season.
