Ice hockey professional Adam Johnson (†29) died in hospital from serious neck injuries caused by a skating blade. The sadness for the former NHL player (13 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins) is enormous.
Now his fiancée Ryan Wolfe is also speaking out on Instagram. In one story, she posts a photo of her late partner and writes: “My sweet, sweet angel. I will miss and love you forever.”
Wolfe, who had been engaged to Johnson since the summer, was running onto the ice when the accident occurred, according to media reports. Players immediately formed a screen so the 29-year-old could receive treatment. However, all rescue attempts were in vain. (ch)
