Blick heard that Malenovic had expressed his desire to become a sports director at a club years ago. But that would require him to give up his lucrative consulting business. Lo and behold: this has already happened. His agency “Soccer Mondial” was merged into the company “VPA Sports International”.

As a result of the merger, the industry giant now has an office in Switzerland. In the future it will apparently be managed by Malenovic’s former employee and ex-GC sports director Paul Bollendorff (43).

On paper, Malenovic is free for a new job in football. At the FCZ it would be a job that would also fit better with life as a father of two children.
