Race calendar 2024 announced: MotoGP plans a record season

The MotoGP celebrates its premiere in Kazakhstan this year.

As the 2023 MotoGP World Championship enters the final phase of the season with the Asian tour, world motorcycle association FIM and marketing company Dorna announced the provisional calendar for the 2024 World Championship. This includes a record 22 races (in 18 countries) from March to November ), two more than this year.

The premiere in Kazakhstan, originally planned for this year, has been moved to 2024 and the Aragon Grand Prix returns to the program. The season starts again in Qatar on March 10 after a one-year break. In German-speaking countries, the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring (July 7) and the Austrian Grand Prix in Spielberg (August 18) are scheduled. (SDA/men)
